While we train customers how to enact the program on their own, our customers are never alone. We stand with them until every creditor has closed that customer’s file. The time this takes from case to case can vary widely. Most cases run pretty smooth and are aged to closure in about a year. Others, by no fault of the customer, can bog down. This would happen, for example, when one of the creditors decides to challenge the program, perhaps even threatening to sue. Naturally a case like this is going to take a little longer, and we’re prepared for that — we’re signed on for the duration. Over the years we’ve seen the credit card companies react to our program in every way possible.
